Council approves £9m hospital loan

Senior councillors have approved a £9.2m loan to help Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The loan, which will come from Blackpool Council’s business loans fund and be secured against the trust’s multi-storey car park, will be paid back with interest over 10 years.
