Council flogs land to raise £1m

Swansea City & CC has sold a former school site, its old transport depot and two acres of land to raise more than £1m.

Council leader, Cllr Rob Stewart, said: ‘These sales are continuing examples of our work to make best use of our estate, generating proceeds that are reinvested back into council services for the benefit of Swansea residents as a whole.
