Council records 200 procurement breaches

‘Urgent’ action is required after Bristol City Council broke procurement rules more than 200 times last year, auditors have said.

Bristol has pledged to put together a new strategy after 203 breaches valued at £69m were found in 2021-22, compared to 94 breaches worth £14m the previous year.
