Cheshire East Council will develop a £5m property investment portfolio to give it an additional income stream that will help achieve a balanced budget.
Senior councillors last week decided to give preference to assets within the borough as they have the ‘potential to create additional regenerative opportunities or otherwise assist the council in delivering its functions’.
