Councillors welcome delay to Labour democracy review

Councillors have welcomed a Labour Party decision to postpone the local government side of its democracy review amid concerns that some proposals were ‘completely unworkable’.

A senior Labour councillor has announced that the review will now form part of the party’s wider look at local government next year.
