Councils 'best placed' to close housing gap

Local government is best placed to address the growing housing gap amid increasing ‘uncertainty,’ according to the Local Government Association’s (LGA) housing spokesman. 

Cllr Peter Box told the LGA's annual conference that it was now ‘more important than ever’ for the sector to ‘reinvigorate’ its focus.
