Councils complain about vaccine diversion

Frustrated council leaders have urged the Government to restore their expected coronavirus vaccine allocations after restricted supplies caused delays to the rollout.

The allocation of vaccine has been halved in some areas such as West Yorkshire and diverted to other parts of the country, with Whitehall insiders describing the supply as ‘tight’.
