Councils' sovereignty not supremely important - London Assembly

The sovereignty of local authorities should be overlooked in times of crisis, the London Assembly has suggested.

Speaking about the response to the Grenfell Tower fire during a London Assembly oversight committee meeting today, chair Len Duvall asked why the Grenfell response team didn’t step in earlier to help Kensington & Chelsea RLBC.
