Councils told to improve strategic planning

Cherwell and South Northamptonshire DCs have been told they must improve strategic planning as they intensify their joint working.

However, a Local Government Association (LGA) corporate peer challenge review team, including Luton Council chief executive Trevor Holden, reported that the districts were ‘well placed to address the challenges they face’.
