Councils urged to move fast on bonds agency

Councils have been urged to ‘move as fast as possible’ to sort paperwork that would allow them to borrow from the new Municipal Bonds Agency.

Former Local Government Association chairman Sir Merrick Cockell told The MJ the agency was ‘open for business’ and it was now ‘down to local authorities to get frameworks embedded in their council’.
