The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is struggling to meet its commitments under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) following swingeing cuts to staff numbers.
Quarterly research by the Institute for Government showed that the DCLG remained the worst-performing Whitehall department when it comes to the time taken to respond to FOI requests.
