‘Deliver social care green paper,’ ministers are told

Ministers should urgently deliver a social care green paper and resist the temptation to kick it into the long grass after the General Election, county councils warned this week.

Speaking ahead of a summit on social care, health and social care spokesman for the County Councils’ Network (CCN), Cllr Colin Noble, said the controversy that followed Theresa May’s campaign U-turn should not stop politicians from tackling the crunch issue.
