Delivering positive changes to the gender pay gap

Cheshire East Council is in a good place in respect of the gender pay gap. Our gap is 14%, so 4% below the national average in the public sector.

There are other authorities who have a lower gap – which in many ways is why we are striving so hard to reduce ours further- but equally this is as much about the journey we will take rather than the statistical analysis alone of where we are now.
