Civitas Social Housing has reported a surge in profits driven by demand for supported accommodation.
Profit before tax for the real estate investment trust rose 65% to £17.4m during the first six months of the financial year, compared to £10.6m during the same period last year. Revenue also rose 45% to £22.7m from £15.7.
