'Diminishing' chief role to be axed

Aylesbury Vale DC (AVDC) will make the chief executive role redundant eight months before the council is abolished in a reorganisation.

Councillors have accepted that the role of the chief executive will diminish over the coming months and agreed that the post holder, Andrew Grant, will leave the council at the end of July.
