Directors' 'grave concerns' on underfunding

Some 45 former directors of social services have called on the Government to put more resources into the care sector.

In a letter to a national newspaper, the former heads said they were writing ‘with many decades of senior management experience behind us, to express our grave concerns about the current underfunding of adult social care services’.
