Don't ignore towns, chief executive warns cities

Nottingham and Derby city councils’ plan to unleash £11bn by closer collaboration will not work without tapping into the economic potential of other towns in the region, the outgoing chief executive of Newark and Sherwood DC has said.

Andrew Muter was responding to research commissioned by the city councils and carried out by consultancy Metro Dynamics.
