Don’t leave cyber security to chance

‘Generals are always prepared to fight the last war’ – that was the proverb that was going through my head when I left a breakfast session at the recent Local Government Association (LGA) conference.

I’m not normally one to be up at the crack of dawn – particularly after a heavy night before – but I felt that in my role as the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) digital spokesperson I should attend a roundtable discussion on cyber security and I’m very glad I did.
