Edinburgh plans 300 job cuts

Edinburgh City Council has estimated it may need to reduce its workforce by the equivalent of up to 300 full-time roles in 2019/20.

The move comes after its revised savings requirement increased by £13m to £41m next year and to around £147m over the next four years.
