Energy sector rapped over lack ‘of civic voice’

Councils expanding into the energy sector should give priority to customers, the UK chief executive of energy company Engie has advised.

Speaking at the annual Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE) Summit in Manchester last week, Wilfrid Petrie said the biggest mistake the energy sector has made is to not give enough importance to people.
