A consortium led by Engie is to test a system for lowering energy usage and carbon emissions on a town-wide scale in Rugeley in Staffordshire.
The zero-carbon smart local energy system (SLES) will include new energy business models, local energy marketplaces and inclusive design to aid in the transition to zero carbon.
