As we close the final issue of The MJ for 2017, it has been another roller-coaster year. Despite the policy paralysis brought on by Brexit, so much has happened over the past 12 months.
It was, for many, a double election year as some of our major cities headed for the polls to elect metro mayors, changing the face of governance in the UK. But it was Theresa May’s snap General Election which will resonate throughout the sector for many years to come.
