The MJ is delighted to announce the finalists of The MJ Local Government Achievement Awards 2020, with a full list of the luck shortlisted councils available at awards.themj.co.uk or in our ebook.
The announcement of the 100 strong list – in 18 award categories – was due in March but postponed due to coronavirus.
The MJ Awards 2020 gala night to reveal the winners, should have taken place in June, but it too was delayed. Instead, we will be holding a virtual awards ceremony at 2pm, 2 October – so get the dates in your diary and join us for the big reveal.

The MJ editor, Heather Jameson, said: ‘Many congratulations to all our awards entries, and thank you for all your patience while The MJ Awards have been on hold during lockdown.
