Former Bristol boss takes smart cities job

Former Bristol City Council boss Nicola Yates has been appointed chief executive of government-backed smart cities organisation Future Cities Catapult.

Ms Yates, who departed the council in July after three years in the top job, will take on the role from 22 May.
