A senior civil servant has paid tribute to local government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking at The MJ's Future Forum today, director general of decentralisation and growth at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), Emran Mian, said: ‘Local government can provide a speed of response we envy in central government.’
