Chief executive of Manchester City Council and SOLACE spokesperson on leadership and learning Joanne Roney has set out a checklist for leading local places in a time of change and uncertainty.
She told delegates at Future Forum North in Manchester that ‘ in the past we had the Audit Commission, agreed targets and we knew what excellence looked like, but the future is less clear’.
