Government adviser urges councils to prepare for post-lockdown

Councils should be preparing residents now for emerging safely from lockdown, a member of the Government’s scientific advisory group, SAGE, has told a District Councils' Network meeting.

And as trust in government has diminished, Professor Susan Michie, professor of health psychology at University College London, warned people with COVID symptoms were less likely to self isolate for 14 days than they were at the start of the pandemic.
