Ministers must pile further cash into Housing First schemes if they want to meet their target of ending rough sleeping in England by 2024, a Government adviser has urged.
Rick Henderson, a member of the Government’s rough sleeping advisory panel, called on ministers to roll out Housing First, which is based on the principle of providing rough sleepers with a home from which they can better receive support.
