Government reveals ‘serious’ gender equality bid for public sector

Cabinet Office minister Matt Hancock has vowed to take ‘serious’ action on gender equality in public sector leadership.

Speaking on International Women’s Day, Mr Hancock announced his intentions to bring about an end to single sex-shortlists and selection panels for public appointments.
