New ministerial arrivals at the renamed Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) show a renewed commitment to its flagship policy, a report has said.
The report by the Institute for Government (IfG) think-tank cited the arrival of new communities secretary Michael Gove and Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s levelling up adviser Neil O’Brien as a ‘signal that the Government is serious about the initiative’.
