There is a ‘chasm’ between the Government and local authorities on fire safety funding post-Grenfell, councils have said.
Writing in The MJ this week, deputy leader of Croydon LBC, Cllr Alison Butler, said that the Government was doing nothing to help councils that were trying to make high-rise buildings safe.
