Shadow local government secretary Andrew Gwynne has urged his political rival Sajid Javid to send commissioners into crisis-hit Northamptonshire CC.
In a letter to Mr Javid, concerned Mr Gwynne urged him to ‘take over the executive functions until an administration can be formed that is competent to run the council’s services on behalf of the people’.
