A pilot scheme that placed specialist addiction nurses in GP surgeries across the most disadvantaged areas in Glasgow should be rolled out due to its success, according to a new study.
Researchers from Dundee and Stirling universities examined the Primary Care Alcohol Nurse Outreach Service (PCANOS) model aimed at helping people with alcohol problems.
