HMJ: Councils urged to clamp down on junk food adverts

Public health experts have urged local authorities to restrict junk food advertising to stop companies exploiting a ‘loophole’ in new rules.

Researchers from Teesside and Liverpool universities and Fuse have warned upcoming rules that restrict how junk food is advertised to children on television and online fail to cover bus shelters and public transport.
