HMJ: Home care services facing ‘invisible crisis’

A think tank has warned that as many as 110,000 people could lose out on home care by April 2022 due to staff shortages.

Analysis by the Nuffield Trust found the social care sector in England has lost up to 50,000 workers in the past six months. However, the think tank warned this number could be significantly higher as not all providers submitted data during that period.
