HMJ: ‘Systemic’ issues holding back digital innovation

A lack of targeted funding and national backing are holding back the digital transformation of community health services, a new report has found.

Published by the Community Network, the report said community providers have been making rapid progress in developing digital services. It found innovations such as remote monitoring, virtual consultations and self-management tools have resulted in better care being delivered.
