'Hard decisions' ahead for council facing £23m budget gap

A council that relied on reserves to cover budget shortfalls in 2017/18 has been told by auditors it now faces ‘hard decisions’.

Worcestershire CC last year achieved £19.1m of savings, amounting to just 68% of its target of £27.9m according to draft audit findings for the last financial year carried out by Grant Thornton.
