The leader of Hull City Council has vowed not to give up his attempts to join the Core Cities group despite his approach being blocked.
Cllr Steve Brady said Hull and the Humber should be in the group ‘by any measure’ as Glasgow joined the network and Cardiff revealed it was in ‘advanced discussions’ to follow suit.
