It’s ‘all or nothing’ for devolution deals

Devolution deals were this week hanging in the balance, as council leaders were warned local support must be ‘all or nothing’ for agreements to proceed.

Communities secretary Sajid Javid last week met council leaders at the Conservative Party Conference to discuss the creation of a Greater Lincolnshire combined authority, warning the region that all 10 authorities must support the £450m deal for it to go ahead.
