Judge blocks attempt to protect director from ‘puerile’ comments

A judge has ruled that a blogger’s slew of ‘puerile’ and ‘unpleasant’ comments about a council director do not constitute harassment.

Director of public health at Sandwell MBC, Dr Lisa McNally, became a target for criticism from self-styled ‘citizen journalist’ Julian Saunders after she released a video about her history of mental illness as part of Mental Health Awareness Week in 2020.
