Kober amendment secures Westminster support

Westminster City Council has insisted it fully supports plans for a London-wide business rates retention pilot, but welcomed the addition of a two-year break clause.

All 32 London boroughs have thrown their weight behind the proposed London-wide rates retention pilot scheme now that a two-year break clause – allowing individual boroughs to opt out of any extended scheme – has been added to the plan.
