LGA chief chosen for new homelessness panel

Local Government Association chief executive Mark Lloyd will represent the sector as a member of Whitehall’s new rough sleeping advisory panel.

Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham and West Midlands mayor Andy Street will also be on the panel, which will help develop a national strategy as part of the Government’s commitment to halve rough sleeping by 2022 and eliminate it altogether by 2027.
