Labour in tourism tax call

Labour has urged the Scottish Government to bring forward plans for a tourist tax after council leaders backed the move.

The party’s intervention comes after a meeting of council leaders last week agreed that the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities should start to lobby the Government for the introduction of a tourist tax.
