Labour proposes national youth services body

Senior Labour Party figures have announced plans to establish a national body to oversee future statutory youth services across local authorities.

Under the plan, a future Labour Government would ring-fence funding for youth services across England and a national body would work with youth partnerships – including councils – to support service delivery.
