'Laddish' culture at Cardiff

More than half of female councillors at Cardiff City Council have experienced bullying or intimidation in the last year, a survey of members has found.

Direct feedback from elected councillors has also suggested a ‘laddish’ culture among members at Cardiff, under which many female councillors feel excluded if they do not follow football or rugby.
