Leader lobbies ministers over Youth Zones

Barking & Dagenham LBC’s leader, Cllr Darren Rodwell, has appealed to ministers to help provide a network of Youth Zones up and down the country.

Cllr Rodwell’s letter to chancellor Sajid Javid and home secretary Priti Patel comes after the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) think-tank recommended the establishment of a national youth infrastructure fund to leverage funding for 100 Youth Zones in the most disadvantaged areas.
