Leeds sets out budget as finances teeter

Leeds City Council has set out plans to address its increasingly perilous budget situation during the pandemic.

Early budget proposals for 2021-22 have been drawn up for the council’s executive board next week in an effort to address a £119m deficit, in advance of the local government finance settlement next week.
