Letwin turns fire on developers

Speeding up the rate at which homes are completed on building sites would help developers free up more resources for social housebuilding, a Government-commissioned review has suggested.

The interim findings of the study of housebuilding called for reforms designed to speed up the build rate on development sites and for thousands of new bricklayers to be trained to help meet targets.
