Senior civil servants are rarely spotted publicly displaying their, no doubt, exemplary sense of humour.
But laughter got the better of a bunch of officials from the Department for Communities and Local Government recently when they were caught sniggering behind the back of their boss, Melanie Dawes, at a recent select committee appearance.
