Liverpool chief to face employment panel

A Liverpool City Council committee is to hold a meeting to decide the fate of the authority’s bailed chief executive, Ged Fitzgerald, The MJ understands.

Mr Fitzgerald has been away from the council since he was arrested in May on suspicion of conspiring to pervert the course of justice and witness intimidation.
